This policy explains what personal data Tinkso collects through tinkso.com, how we use it, who helps us process it, and how you can exercise your rights. For anything in it, contact us at hello@tinkso.com.

Who we are

Tinkso is a custom software studio. In this policy "Tinkso", "we" and "us" mean the business that operates tinkso.com. Our mailing address is available on request at hello@tinkso.com.

Data we collect

Contact form. Your name, email address, a description of your project, and the page you submitted the form from.
AI Readiness Quiz and AI Assessment. Your name, email address, company name (and, for the assessment, company size and industry), your answers, and the resulting scores and recommendations.
Booking a call. When you choose a time in our scheduler (provided by Cal.com) we receive your name, email address, company, and what you want to discuss.
Emails you send us, and our replies.
Technical information collected automatically when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps.
Cookies and similar technologies, described in the Cookies section below.

How we use your data

To reply to enquiries, run the quiz and assessment you asked for, and schedule calls.
To send follow-ups about what you asked about. We do not send unsolicited marketing email.
To run, secure and improve the website, including measuring which pages are useful if you accept analytics cookies.
To meet legal obligations and defend legal claims.

If you are in the EEA or UK, our legal bases are: legitimate interests (running the website, answering business enquiries, preventing abuse), consent (optional analytics cookies), contract (services you engage us for) and legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers who process it on our behalf to run the website and our business:

Vercel for hosting.
Supabase for the database that stores enquiries and quiz or assessment submissions.
Resend to deliver the notification emails we receive about your submission.
Google Workspace for our email.
Cal.com for scheduling and the booking calendar.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for analytics, only if you accept cookies.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, and your data may be transferred if the business is sold or reorganised, with notice to you.

International transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries outside the EEA and UK. Where required we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry, quiz and assessment data for as long as needed to answer you and keep business records, then delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete it sooner. Technical logs are kept for a limited period.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your data, and to receive a copy of it. If you are in the EEA or UK you can complain to your supervisory authority. To exercise a right, email hello@tinkso.com.

Children

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Cookies

Necessary. The site remembers your language, and stores one preference in your browser recording whether you accepted or declined analytics. These are not used for tracking.

Analytics (optional). If you click Accept in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies such as _ga, and Microsoft Clarity, which sets cookies such as _clck and _clsk and records how pages are used, including anonymised session replays and heatmaps. If you click Decline, or make no choice, neither is loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

Scheduling. The booking calendar is provided by Cal.com, which may set its own cookies under its privacy policy.

You can change your choice at any time with the cookie button at the bottom left of any page. Declining after accepting also clears the analytics cookies. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the most recent change, and we will post notice here of material changes.
