Plinth is a startup part of Paris based accelerator 104Factory focusing on startups in the cultural and creative sector. Their founders are on a mission to combat waste in the cultural sector and reduce art's ecological footprint. Instead of art galleries and museums throw away or put items in storage after an exhibition or project, why not have others reuse them? With limited budget and time, they discovered the potential of no-code and reached out to us to build their MVP. We helped Plinth build a marketplace connecting art professionals to share and source items used in exhibitions and cultural events.
We designed and built a custom marketplace with a subscription payment integration to be used on mobile and desktop. Posting an ad is free and students get free or reduced access to all the ads on the platform. For a fixed monthly fee professionals get access to all ads and have unlimited picks from all listed items. Plinth was the only startup from the incubator's cohort to present a functioning version of their startup idea. Even better: they're generating revenue!
"We chose Tinkso for the development of our first web app version. We needed a solution that was affordable in terms of budget and fast in its realization. Confident in their support, we particularly appreciated that the advices were not limited to the technical aspects but extended to the whole of our project. We learned a lot in the first few moments of discussion and their advices were always judicious and accurate. The team is pedagogic and works in a good mood. We are thrilled with our first application and we will not hesitate to work with Tinkso again in the future."
