After matching hundreds of different employers and prospective employees manually, Niya had more work than they could handle.
Amongst the global refugee community, the eligible talent pool is always increasing. Niya wanted to meet these individuals’ needs with training resources and networking opportunities. By the same token, Niya served global companies wanting to train and hire tech talent as well as track diversity initiatives in their organizations.
They had the potential to create a win-win situation. But clearly, a standard ATS just wouldn’t cut it. That’s why they came to us. At Tinkso, we specialize in building bespoke software solutions to help our clients scale. Here’s how we built a custom ATS for Niya.
As the backlog grew, the first thing Niya wanted to do was to offer a smart matching system where employers could browse and match talents for their roles independently. This allowed them to bring value to the table immediately.
After we designed the platform with all the appropriate integrations and customizations that Niya required, we began offering it to the public. Top companies in the UK quickly took up the platform. They agreed this was an easier way to hire top talent and bring diversity to their workforce.
Since then, Niya has evolved to incorporate AI into its platform. Guided by Niya’s AI tools, prospective employees can now acquire the skills they need to land their ideal roles.
Niya also learned an important lesson. Without owning your own products completely, it’s difficult to build the product you want. AI features would have been drastically harder to integrate into a boilerplate ATS solution. By implementing a No-Code solution like we did, you can make changes much quicker.
