Building a real estate lead generation machine

In the real estate industry, the battle for leads is fierce. Over 4 million homes were sold in the US in 2024.
That’s why as a real estate marketing startup, HelloEquity wanted to stand out by offering more leads than anyone else. Given their experience, they had a sophisticated understanding of the flow of data in the real estate industry. Having access both to third-party and self-generated data, they wanted to bring it together within a single lead-generation platform.

By the end, real estate agents were able to use Hello Equity to send millions of automated reports to homeowners. Realtors now had a powerful new tool to nurture their leads.
Ryan White, HelloEquity’s co-founder, agreed that Tinkso went “above and beyond'' to build the app. Using our No-Code openBase Bubble template, we constructed a bespoke lead generation SaaS tool that you wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else.
Generating and nurturing leads at scale
As contradictory as it might seem, personalization and scale don’t need to be at odds with one another.
Rather, it merely required us to coordinate all the data flows and user flows into a single web application.
The app needed to be as user-friendly as possible given that realtors and homeowners don’t always come from a tech-savvy background.
Therefore, we began by designing the app in Figma while simultaneously building out technical functionality in Bubble for the backend. Once that was done, we implemented everything in Bubble.
Creating Reports
Here’s how we set up the platform to make it easy to create millions of real estate reports.
Firstly, real estate agents sign up through several means, including through the website, via invitation, or via affiliate link.

On the homeowner side, real estate agents can add leads one by one or through bulk import through their existing real estate CRM. In either case, this enabled the realtor to send their leads an invitation.

HelloEquity would also help realtors onboard new users by giving them a link to integrate into their landing pages or social media marketing efforts. Following the link would allow homeowners to input key data to obtain a valuation for their home.

Nurturing leads
To nurture leads, real estate agents could now use HelloEquity to send automated reports to homeowners with personalized information about:
Home Value
Equity
Mortgages
Sales trends of comparable properties in their area

Each of these reports helped their leads make better decisions on selling and buying property. For instance, they could educate them on how to time the market.
Over time, realtors could continue using HelloEquity to send update emails and collect data about whether they were ready to sell. It was obviously important for them to maintain relevance.
On the back end, we were also collecting data to help realtors in their marketing efforts. Realtors could view key data on their emails like click rates, open rates, and more. They could also view data on each lead in terms of housing value and their stated readiness to buy or sell.
HelloEquity in action
Previously, realtors would waste tons of time connecting data from different sources to compile all this information into a useful report.
Now, they could do it automatically. HelloEquity was effectively rolling out a brand-new product that better served their clients. Given that they were in the business of bringing real estate agents more leads, automating it at this scale completely changed their perspective on the business.
As Ryan said, HelloEquity continued its partnership with Tinkso to expand its new product offerings and find the right product-market fit. And we couldn’t have done it without the speed and flexibility that No-Code offers.
