When your business operations are scattered across several apps, even getting simple tasks done can take forever. But if you’re trying to scale operations, wasting time on the little things is going to hamper your progress. They needed a unified solution.
As a recruitment agency, digiRocks had a three-sided problem to solve. Each side needed a portal where:
Clients could evaluate candidates.
Applicants could view prospective employers and jobs.
Recruiters at digiRocks could manage their relationships with both parties effectively.
Before automation, coordination between these stakeholders was a mess. They wanted to be more inclusive of clients and applicants. That’s why they approached us at Tinkso to help them develop a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in No-Code. By connecting everything together in one platform, they were able to use the data to exploit new efficiencies.
While their recruiters needed an internal project management system, this new ATS was about much more than that.
Here are some of the third-party tools that we needed to connect.
Workable – recruiting software that digiRocks was already using.
Pipedrive – a CRM tool that helped digiRocks manage their leads.
Harvest – an invoicing tool to help digiRocks with accounting processes.
There were a few other tools, but you get the idea. DigiRocks basically needed to extend the core functionality of a standard off-the-shelf ATS with a bunch of tools that were unique to their business model and workflows.
Over 3 months, our work culminated in a platform called digiRocks Matching. The platform covered everything from deal creation to job promotion and candidate matching.
Most importantly, digiRocks now had all the tools and data they needed to match potential employers and employees at scale.
As the number of job matches on the platform grows, digiRocks gets better at suggesting matches. This reflects well on their recruitment consultants since their job is to find the most effective candidates for clients.
Nowadays, digiRocks provides far more value to clients and candidates than they ever could have without the platform.
It demonstrates that cookie-cutter SaaS solutions don’t work well when separated. And by adopting a No-Code solution like ours, it only took a few months to build such a comprehensive internal tool.
Tinkso has been great in challenging our ideas. They helped us look at things with a fresh perspective allowing us to create a great application that brings value to the end user.
